Easier enterprises
Here’s how it works: Install Minion Enterprise on one server – your “repository” server. Enter a list of SQL Server instances to the Servers table, and assign each one a service level: Gold, Silver, or Bronze. M.E. takes it from there.
In one day, you’ll have expansive, queryable data on versions and editions, hardware, drive capacity and availability, databases, files, objects, logins, users, error logs, and quite a lot more.
You’ll receive consolidated, actionable, configurable alerts for disk space, logins with high level permissions, missing backups and CheckDBs, new and retired databases, service status, and weak passwords.
You can configure alerts and report for anything you like. A few real-world examples:
- Changes to sp_configure settings
- File growth projections for disk space estimates
- Availability Group failovers
